Hudson and the ice cream sandwich

I couldn't resist this series of pictures. I gave Hudson an ice cream sandwich and this is what he did with it. He ate about 2/3rds of it before the real mess insued. I had to stop taking photos at that point if I ever wanted to get the room cleaned.
Also, check out his stylish hairdo!! I cut it myself on Sunday. It kinda looks like a bowl but the back actually has a little shape. I need to go back and even out some parts but for my first attempt at a real haircut I'm pretty proud!
In the next few weeks we should be getting another sonogram of baby p. Will post those pictures up as soon as we get them. I'm still sticking firm with the plan not to find out what we are having. We'll see if I'm vetoed on that one!

Helping Mommy in the Kitchen

In these photos Hudson is tenderizing a steak! He saw me pounding the
steak and came over to me to gester it was his turn. He continued to pound and even took the show on the road until I had to remove the steak from his hands. It is 20 minutes later and he is still wlaking around with the mallet!!!!! Maybe we have a mini chef on our hands. He was super funny to watch!!

These are a few snapshots from Superbowl XLIII. Hudson had a friend over, Jonathan Bolena, and he was thrilled. We enjoyed watching our team win!!!

First Ultrasound

We went Monday to get our first ultrasound and to get a more accurate due date. Looks like I might end up with two September babies after all. Baby number two has an EDD of September 5th. Chris has lots of family born in September but Hudson was the first for my family. Maybe I'll start a trend in my family!!

Our next ultrasound won't be for another 12wks or so and I am already trying to lay down the groundwork with Chris that we don't want to know what the baby's gender is. He is trying to convince me that he can find out and keep it a secret from me. Like that would ever happen!! I desperately want to be surprised. It will help me get through those toughs end weeks and labor!! I'll let you know what we decide. For now, I just want to get past the exhausted/nauseated stage!!!

Mallory Lane

These are pictures of my niece, Mallory Lane. She is 3 1/2 months old in these pictures. She is the youngest Pendleton baby, at least for the next 7 months or so. At the end of August/beginning of September Chris and I will be welcoming another addition to the Pendleton crew. Maybe a girl this time...
